This is my eighth year of teaching in the Longview School District (my seventh year at RAL). I graduated from Western Washington University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a degree in Chemistry/Mathematics, and I completed a Masters of Arts in Mathematics Education from Western Governors University in 2014. I love math and science, but more than anything I love to teach!
Outside of school, I love spending time with my family. My husband, Tim, is also a teacher--he teaches 3rd and 4th grade at Northlake Elementary. We have a five year old son, Joel, and a three year old daughter, Bridget. The other members of my family are my cat, Kwazii, and my Golden Retriever, Luna.
